The Presidential Award allows me to be recognized for my passion in both teaching and the development of children. While there are so many deserving educators, I am humbled to have been chosen for this award. Mathematics plays a crucial role in academic development. It is my goal to instill a love for mathematics in others, rather than just a tolerance for it. Throughout this award process, I have evolved as a teacher for my students and I am eternally grateful for this experience.
