Maineville, OH - Mathematics
As educators it is difficult to gauge if we are successful. We follow our district's curriculum, attend professional development and employ effective pedagogy, but that doesn’t ensure success. Our profession is also quite isolated; we don’t have opportunities to watch our peers or see effective practices in action. Winning the Presidential Award confirms that my work has been judged to meet high teaching standards and encourages me to continue my growth as an effective educator.
