The Presidential Award is a tremendous honor. Teaching is a demanding profession, and the Presidential Award is a recognition of the hard work and continuous effort that goes into my classroom every day. It is an acknowledgement of all of the knowledge and insight that my mentors have shared with me, as well as all of the support and encouragement that my family, friends, and colleagues have given me over the years.
